Convincing the Jury
Because 'stand your ground' was not a law at the time of this incident, we had to convince the jury that under these circumstances, our client reasonably feared for his safety, and that his actions were reasonable.
To do this we acquainted the jury with the client using his own testimony. Then we showed them to see video of the scene and aerial photos showing how isolated his place was, and how distant his closest neighbors.

Our client was acquitted of all charges.
The jury found that our client was justified in the amount of force (a previous standard) he used under these particular circumstances.
